Explore the interplay of color and texture as we celebrate the changing seasons in this exploratory, process oriented gel plate monoprinting workshop. We'll learn about gel plate printmaking basics plus tips for pulling successful prints. Each participant will be provided paper, gel plate and brayer for printing, acrylic paints in various colors, brushes, a variety of leaves and flowers and reclaimed plastic or cardboard to create a variety of textures for the prints. Participants will leave the workshop with 15-20 unique textured prints ready for hanging or collage. All levels of experience are welcome.
