Watercolors for Everyone

This exciting and popular 8-week class offers complete beginners and intermediate students an energized, interactive and in-depth introduction to watercolor painting. The structured approach breaks down many of the elements of watercolor, enabling students to approach an understanding of the materials, composition and effects of colors in their painting. The instructor will focus on the individual student's level of experience, allowing them to gain the tools and abilities to discover their own personal style. Class time will be spent painting still life objects inspired by English and French painters. This is a fun and relaxed class and one of the best introduction courses in Seattle. See Textbooks and Supplies for supply list. Students who take this class are invited to participate in our Summer CE Student Art Show. Visit our Art Show page for more information.

I liked the instructor. Susan knows her stuff, she was encouraging and inspiring. As a person with ZERO watercolor experience, I found myself at ease, not discouraged, and I learned a lot.
