Teach for Us

Do you love to help others learn your craft? Are you an expert in your field and want to pass on your knowledge and experience to others? Does teaching come naturally to you?

Join the Continuing Education team!

Our instructors teach their passion and profession to adult learners of all ages who take our classes for personal enrichment and professional development. Continuing Education instructors seek to build a sense of community in the classroom and foster a fun and inviting learning environment.

What is Continuing Education?

Continuing Education at North Seattle College offers non-credit classes for lifelong learners in computers, business, art, home and cooking, fitness, enrichment, and language. Our courses are offered on both weekdays and weekends, daytime and evenings, and range from one-time business plan workshops to eight session language classes. No grades and no exams means no pressure for students who take our classes.

We are always looking for new instructors. Here’s what we need from you:

If we think your course might be a good fit for our program, we will invite you to meet with us for a 1 hour interview with 7-10 minute teaching demonstration. At that time, we'll ask you to provide your course outline/syllabus.

Due to the volume of proposals we receive, we cannot accept hard-copy proposals, late proposals, or informal requests for teaching opportunities.
