Learn to navigate with confidence using an orienteering compass and topographic map. This beginner-friendly course covers essential skills like understanding the difference between true and magnetic bearings, perfect for hiking, backpacking, or general navigation. Students will first attend an in-person classroom review featuring real-world videos and detailed animations, followed by a hands-on field session to practice your new skills. Please note: GPS and Geocaching are not covered.
