Fundamentals of Project Management

Project Management is becoming increasingly important in today’s business environment. This course is not meant to prepare you for certification, but serves as an introduction to projects and project management. It begins with project principles and terminology as well as project team structure. We then delve into more details around the phases of projects and the deliverables produced. The course will differentiate between the various approaches to project management and provide understandable examples of each since it is critical to be familiar with each approach.

Once an extensive understanding of project management is achieved, the course begins to create project plans using common tools to track project status. This part of the course is a fun, hands-on experience that continues to build upon your project knowledge while learning the disciplines used to track and maintain project tracking.
