Washington State History & Burke Museum

We will explore Washington's premier history museum in Tacoma. We will see everything from a Native American longhouse, frontier towns to the industries that helped build Washington State. Next we will talk about the Burke Museum which is the official natural history museum in the state. The Burke celebrates Biology, Paleontology, Geology, Archeology and Sociology of the cultures of the Pacific Rim. Visual aids and handouts provided.
