Heidi Packard

Heidi Packard is a dedicated educator with a passion for history, writing, and personal growth. Currently a high school teacher with a Master of Arts in Teaching, Heidi is thrilled to share her love for learning through her course, Archetypal Astrology for Personal Growth, at North Seattle Community College.

For nearly her entire adult life, Heidi has been committed to teaching. Even during her years as a full-time stay-at-home mom to four children, she continued to teach adult classes in writing and history, along with music and piano lessons for children. This ongoing dedication reflects her deep belief in the power of education to inspire and transform.

Heidi’s journey into astrology began three years ago when her children introduced her to the subject. What initially seemed like a passing trend turned into a passion as she uncovered astrology’s ancient roots and its potential as a tool for self-discovery. She quickly realized how astrology could guide individuals toward personal growth and help them become their best selves.

Heidi’s teaching philosophy is centered around collaborative learning. She believes that "whoever is talking the most tends to be learning the most," and designs her lessons to engage students in active exploration, discussion, and creativity. By weaving together diverse approaches, she creates a classroom atmosphere that encourages relationship-building and meaningful self-reflection.
