Robin Arnitz
Robin Arnitz's work combines realism and abstraction, tackling themes of power struggles, gender, and expressive mark-making through painting. Her work shows nationally and included in the Seattle Art Fair through Shift Gallery. Her work has also participated in residencies locally and abroad and has been featured in publications including New American Paintings and in the Art21 blog, Praxis Makes Perfect.
In 2010 Arnitz earned her MFA in painting from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan where she was awarded a Merit Scholarship. In addition to her studio practice, she has taught painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed-media art history and art appreciation at various colleges.
