Paige St-Pierre

Paige St-Pierre is a Seattle based fiber artist and professionally trained teacher. She creates wearable and visual art pieces from reclaimed papers and textiles. Her process involves altering cloth and paper by dyeing, painting or printing with botanically derived pigments then creating texture with machine and hand stitches. She shares her love of nature and creative reuse by teaching natural dyeing, printing, painting and slow stitching workshops to all ages in the greater Seattle area. Her art has been showcased in various shows within Washington state. She is a member of Surface Design Association, American Society of Botanical Artists, Northwest Spinners & Fiber Arts Association and Zero Waste Washington’s Repair Economy. She also holds degrees in Apparel Design, Teaching, French Language and Literature.
