I have been creating 3D art for over 10 years primarily in the mediums of collage, basketry, metalworking, and ceramics. I taught myself to weave pine needle baskets years back and never stopped. When I sit with a tree, collect pine needles, or create a basket I feel at home. In my senses and in the world. I bask in slowness: selecting each pine needle, wafting the resin-y aroma when soaking them, and feeling presence as my creation takes form. I am inspired by the shapes of nature, especially the flowing curves of water, and the biomorphic essence of driftwood.
