Chelsea Bolan

Chelsea Bolan is the author of the novel The Good Sister, which won the HarperCollins/UBC Prize for Best New Fiction. Born in Spokane, Washington, she attended the University of Washington and the University of British Columbia, where she earned an MFA in Creative Writing. Her work has appeared in local and national publications, including The Kenyon Review, Poetry Northwest, Borderlands, Seattle Weekly, and Fair Fight. Her work also appeared in Particles on the Wall, a traveling exhibition about the Hanford Nuclear Site. She is a Rockland Artist Residency (Bremerton) fellow and was a Milkwood International AIR (Czechia), as well as an Artist Trust GAP grant recipient. She lives in Seattle.
