Kayako Cindy Omori

Cindy Omori

Hi, I am Cindy. You can call me Kayako as well because I am a Taiwanese Japanese and holding a Japanese family. Cindy is my English name that I used during my travel time since when I was 26 years old, also been used when I started to teach on 2002 in Tokyo after I received a certificate to teach Taiwanese Mandarin from Taiwanese government office. My own major in university was Education.

It wasn’t easy that a Taiwanese person to teach Taiwanese Style Mandarin outside of Taiwan. There was a long time that people gave a lot of spot light to Chinese Style Mandarin. In the fact, these two kinds of Mandarin are different. Different in many ways included life style, culture, education and so and so. I learned the Chinese Style Mandarin and how it different to the another. However, I have never changed my mind and continue teach the Taiwanese Mandarin until now. I love all kinds of the content inside of it.

I considered myself as a teacher who is responsible and reliable, loves being with students, and brings a variety of experiences to them. An important thing is that I know languages are for communication to rich our mind and to satisfied our curiosities about the different countries.
