Jessica Hoffman is an artist, educator and co-founder of Paper Press Punch, a Risograph print studio. Jessica received her BFA in Photography from the Corcoran College of Art and Design in Washington, DC and her MFA in Book Arts and Printmaking from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. She is a part-time faculty member in the Fine Arts Department at Seattle Central College and teaches Book Arts at Pratt Fine Arts Center.

At Seattle Central College, Jessica main teaching focus has been Digital Photography, with an emphasis on creative exploration and technical application. Through Paper Press Punch, Jessica has developed and led workshops in risograph printing, zine-making, and experimental print practices, with an emphasis on collaboration and skill-building. Her teaching approach blends practical design knowledge with an open, exploratory mindset, encouraging participants to produce finished work while also experimenting with process and material.

Jessica’s artwork investigates memory, obsessive behaviors, and familial relationships. She works in video, photography, books, and printmaking. She has received numerous awards, including an Artist Trust GAP Grant and Pratt Fine Arts Center Fellowship. She has exhibited throughout the US, including at SOIL Gallery and Interstitial in Seattle, Antenna Gallery in New Orleans, Center for Emerging Visual Artists in Philadelphia, and the Delaware Center for Contemporary Art in Wilmington.

Jessica serves as an Advisory Board Member for Short Run Seattle and is active in her community, serving on committees for public safety in Rainier Beach in collaboration with community-based organizations and neighborhood public schools.
