Wendi Gephart is a grants and grantmaking professional with more than two decades of experience working across nonprofit, government, and public-sector organizations. She has led successful federal, state, and local grants prospecting and applications, as well as overseen post-award management for portfolios ranging from small community grants to multimillion-dollar public funding awards.

Wendi has worked in transit, higher education, arts and culture, community development, and national nonprofit settings, including roles with Pierce Transit, Seattle Central College, the Nevada Arts Council, and Movement Strategy Center. Her work spans grant strategy, application development, compliance, post-award management, equitable grantmaking, and capacity-building for organizations at every stage of grant readiness.

In addition to hands-on practice, Wendi writes articles and presents quarterly grants management webinars for Grants Intelligence, where she focuses on practical, equity-centered approaches to grants and funding systems. She is known for translating complex grant requirements into clear, actionable guidance that helps organizations pursue funding with intention,
confidence, and integrity.
