Jeremy Collison

Jeremy has beenn a resident of Washington since 2006 and has spent much of this time exploring the forests in the region. He began teaching the community about mushrooms through a Meetup group he started in 2018 and has since expanded his mushroom education options to include in-person classes of up to 50 participants, online classes with up to 1000 participants, cultivation workshops, small 4-person private classes at his home, and outdoor foraging tours near Darrington, Skykomish, Enumclaw, and North Bend. He has also hosted workshops at schools including the Bush School, University Child Development School, Nova High School, and Cedar River Montessori. He has presented for the Kitsap Peninsula Mycological Society, Yakima Mushroom Club, and Van Dusen Public Garden in Vancouver, BC.
