Spring brings new opportunities to connect, learn, and plan your next steps. Two upcoming online events offer students and community members a chance to build useful skills, explore academic programs, and connect with instructors and resources across Seattle Colleges.

• March 7: Critical Thinking Workshop for Students
• March 9–12: Discover Seattle Colleges Online Event Series
Both events are open to students and community members and take place online.
Critical Thinking Workshop for Student Leaders
Strong critical thinking skills help you succeed in school, work, and everyday life. The PTK Critical Thinking Workshop for Student Leaders offers practical tools to help you evaluate information, question assumptions, and make confident decisions.
This interactive session focuses on real strategies you can apply right away. You will learn how to analyze ideas, communicate your reasoning clearly, and approach complex problems with a thoughtful process.
All students are welcome to attend. You do not need to be a member of Phi Theta Kappa to participate. Community members are also encouraged to join.

Discover Seattle Colleges 2026
Students who want to explore programs and career pathways can attend Discover Seattle Colleges 2026, a live online event series designed for prospective students and their families.
This four-day series includes interactive sessions that highlight academic programs across Seattle Colleges. Participants will hear directly from instructors, learn about different areas of study, and ask questions in real time.
