Spanish Conversation for Beginners Level 3
Continue building your Spanish language skills focusing in listening for understanding; fluency in speaking and pronunciation. Practice your current vocabulary and learn more terms related to tourism, running errands, daily routines, telling stories and more. Keep practicing real conversations and learning the history and characteristics of different regions in the Americas. Build confidence for interacting with Spanish native speakers and explore different Spanish-speaking countries, through their history, music, geography, culture, and current events. Learn from a native Spanish speaker who has over 15 years of experience teaching Spanish as a second language. This class is conducted in Spanish and is ideal for students who have a low intermediate or high beginner level and an interest in Latin American culture. Prerequisite: 40 hours of Spanish instruction or equivalent. This course is part of a series of level 3 courses for each beginning, intermediate, and advanced classes. Take this self-placement test to see if you are ready for Level 3 of Spanish Conversation for Beginners. Please note that there is no key, but if you feel comfortable answering most of the questions - this is the class for you.

Spanish Conversation Intermediate Level 3
Move forward with your Spanish-speaking skills and increase your listening comprehension of the Spanish language as it is naturally used in conversation. Build vocabulary for contexts that reflect a wide variety of situations related to sports and outdoor activities; business and job interviews; and media and the arts. You will also continue enhancing your knowledge of the subjunctive mode and prepositional phrases. As always, we will include a cultural component that will explore Latin American literature, history, music, and current events. Learn from a native speaker with over 15 years of experience teaching Spanish as a second language. This is an immersive class conducted in Spanish and ideal for intermediate students. This course is part of a series of level 3 courses for each beginning, intermediate, and advanced classes. Not sure if this class is for you? Spanish Conversation Advanced Level 1
Refine your Spanish speaking and listening skills acquired through the years in a relaxed learning environment. Watch short films and participate in an informal reading club and share your comments on short essays, stories, and plays. Review the uses of ser and estar, prepositions and the indicative past tenses. As always, we will include a cultural component that explores Latin American literature, history, music, and current events. This immersive class conducted in Spanish.

This course is the first in a series of 3 for Intermediate Spanish Conversation courses ¡Nos vemos en clase! This course is the first in a series of 3 for Intermediate Conversation. Enhance your listening, speaking, and reading skills and get ready to communicate in Spanish at an intermediate level. Build vocabulary in contexts that reflect a wide variety of situations such as renting an apartment, planning a trip, and more. You will also speak and write sentences using the imperfect and preterit tenses and be introduced to the subjunctive mood. Spanish Conversation for Beginners Level 2
Advance the conversational Spanish skills established in Spanish Conversation for Beginners 1. Build your confidence in speaking and listening while refining your vocabulary. Learn about Latin American culture (history, music, poetry, arts) from a native Spanish speaker. Practice words you already know and apply them to social situations. Learn to order food, have informal conversations about your favorite books or movies, discuss current events using newspaper articles written in Spanish, listen to songs to help identify and practice new and old vocabulary. Please Note: This class in conducted in Spanish and requires at least three months of previous Spanish classes.
