Learn to Speak Guitar: Guitar and Theory Techniques

This transformative guitar class is designed for students who have a solid understanding of music but struggle to translate their ideas into expressive guitar playing due to insufficient technique and lack of a structured system. Many talented musicians get frustrated when they can't play what they hear in their head and feel in their heart. Our focus is on breaking down these barriers by providing you with the essential tools and a proven method to apply them effectively on the guitar. Simply learning scales, chord shapes, and theory isn't enough – this course will show you how to use them to become a better musician. If you're ready to invest the time and effort, we’re confident that together, we can achieve your musical goals. Students must bring their own acoustic or electric guitar and a pick. For electric guitar players, please bring your amp and chords. Scholarships available; contact conted@seattlecolleges.edu to learn more.
