In this class we will learn ways to activate our memory of experiences in the landscape, through drawing and collage with ink and watercolor. The fluid nature of these materials opens up possibilities for experimental play and invention. Open to all skill levels-- if you are interested in working from memory and would like to find a place to begin, or you already sketch outdoors and would like to further develop these images, all are welcome. Throughout the course we will engage with work by artists who utilize memory, as well as keeping up our own sketchbook to inform the process of image making.
