Iphis Aire

Iphis Aire is a Seattle-based ceramic artist whose practice spans handbuilding, wheel throwing, and altered vessels. He studied craft at The Evergreen State College, and has cultivated an active ceramics practice for more than a decade.

As an instructor, Iphis is dedicated to helping students develop technical skills, creative confidence, and an individual artistic voice. Their teaching focuses on making ceramic techniques approachable through clear instruction, engaging projects, and constructive critique. By fostering a collaborative and supportive studio environment, Iphis encourages experimentation, curiosity, and lifelong learning for ceramic artists.
