Summer is a great time to reset, recharge, and focus on something for yourself. Continuing Education at North Seattle College makes it easy to learn a new skill or revisit something you’ve always wanted to try. Classes are short, practical, and designed to fit into your schedule.
There are no grades, no tests, and no degree requirements—just time well spent learning alongside others who share your interests. You’ll find options in art, writing, business, cooking, health, language, and more. Some classes meet just once; others run for several weeks. Many are evenings or weekends, and some are online.
If you want to stay creative, try watercoloring beach finds, spoon carving, or writing short memoirs. If you're focused on professional growth, look at classes in Canva, Excel, health coaching, or business skills. Language learners can start speaking Spanish, Japanese, or American Sign Language this quarter. Prefer to be outdoors? Join a landscape drawing class or learn to spot birds along the Duwamish River.
Summer quarter runs July 7 to August 28. Registration opens May 27 online. Save the date! A full class preview of the catalog can be found [here].
