Michele Sweeney
Michele is a fourth-generation baker, award-winning culinary artist, instructor, and cookbook author with a global reputation. Her family traditions laid the foundation for her love of baking, and over the years, she has gained national and international recognition. Michele was featured on Food Network's Cake Wars and served as the 2019 FIPGC Coach for the Cake Designers World Championship in Milan, showcasing the artistry of cake design on a global stage.
Michele holds an AAS in Design and multiple certifications in User-Centered Design, merging her creative and technical skills across various industries, including consulting, marketing, and product development. Her diverse expertise has made her a versatile professional, able to adapt her talents while maintaining a strong passion for culinary arts. She is also a graduate of the Wilton School of Cake Decorating and a former Wilton Method Instructor, with additional training from Chez Boucher Culinary School in New England. Her deep culinary knowledge fuels her passion for teaching, and she offers classes that focus on everything from culinary techniques to marketing strategies for aspiring food professionals.
As the founder of Epicurean Delights, Michele has built a thriving community of food lovers and culinary enthusiasts. She also successfully ran a specialty bakery and retail supply shop, further cementing her influence in the specialty food industry.
